She grinned, clearly not intimidated by the Nathrezim’s presence. Demons were much easier for her to deal with than regular people.
“Just to chat!” she said as if it was obvious. “I mean you are a powerful Dreadlord right? Oh, pardon me, that’s our word for you. I mean Nathrezim. Here, I brought some wine. Mister Illy likes it so I figured you might too.”
She pulled herself up onto a chair and poured some of the mentioned wine, before flicking her brown eyes to the seat opposite.
“Look, I’m not going to beat about the bush here - you’re too smart for that so I will level with you. You’re a demon; it is your nature to be loyal to the Legion. So, why aren’t you? You’re not like my pets - they had to be subjugated, but you did not. You and Mister Illy are… Partners of sorts.”
His brow quirked at the gnomes rather nonchalant behaviour towards this all. She didn’t seem bothered at all that she’d just called forth a powerful demon, granted the Nathrezim had earned a reputation for being rather sedate and calm for his kind but that didn’t mean he wasn’t dangerous.
The demon eyed the wine then shrugged and decided it couldn’t hurt, he was rather fel starved as of late perhaps the alcohol could take his mind off of that.
“Because I love making poor choices that some how end up in my favour.” He snorted, it was meant to taken as a joke but he remembered Mortals didn’t quite have the same sense of humour.
“Really though why wouldn’t I listen to him. We share a body, it’s his body I’m just hitchhiking because in all likelihood I’ll never get my real one back....Like I said bad choices and all. He also forced me to watch him kill Tichondrius shortly after we became demon and vessel so you know that whipped me into shape a bit.”
