*Onyx Storm spoilers up to Ch. 64*
I feel like Felix also has some sort of inntinnsic or precog signet. Not a full inntinsic or precog, since obviously he would have been killed for the first (assuming he doesn’t have another signet), and Aaric is the only living precog that we know of. But something along those lines. His scenes strike me as “right place, right time, with the right tools”. The most glaring example to me is when he showed up at Draithus with more alloy-hilted daggers. Unless Aaric had some sort of vision and told him before he left Aretia, Felix wouldn’t have had any way of knowing the Draithus wards were failing.
Even in IF, knowing as little as he did about Violet, he immediately clocked that she needed better signet training. And halfway through OS, he knew she needed his help again and went unprompted to Basgiath, a place he is vocal about hating.
He easily could have known all of this from someone telling him, but that doesn’t sit right with me. He seems to randomly show up when he’s needed one too many times.
