Transcript: Merch narrows his eyes at the soap box stage.

Even now, after all this time, the wood was still "highly unsafe" and "irradiated". Even the past 20 or so days hadn't been long enough.

…Somehow.

Dave had announced that everyone was safe so long as they didn't actually touch the splatters. Yet, the way other contestants had reacted to the news of "radiation" had him concerned, despite what the management here was saying. It seemed like he was the only one here who didn't know what radiation was.

Just another universal constant that skipped over his World, he supposed.

He grimaces, leaving out of the front Lobby and making his way outside.

Merch obtains a soft pretzel and a vanilla milkshake from a vendor (if he could even call him that) and settles down on the edge of a water fountain, a good distance away from the Event Hall. He eyes the coins in the water, but ultimately leaves them.

He decides to focus on his food. Despite the laughable planning of this "event", losing to the [REDACTED] who tried to kill him, and not being able to make any new business contacts, the food almost made everything worth it.
