The Bogliasco Foundation supports the Arts and Humanities by providing residential Fellowships at its study center in Italy’s most vibrant, historic crossroads, where gifted artists and scholars of all cultures come together to connect, create and disseminate significant new work.

Large Group Friday (4/4) DH 2210, 7PM

This week is our last “regular” Bible study of the semester / school year. Hard to believe right?? This week’s topic is “Heaven.” Gordon will be leading us through a variety of passages that talk about this eternal sanctuary as well as try to answer the questions you (or I) have regarding this topic. So come with questions.

Here’s the schedule for the rest of the semester

  April 4th    - Final Bible Study Large Group, DH 2210

April 11th  - No Large Group, CMU Spring Carnival

April 18th  - No Large Group, Good Friday*

April 25th  - Prayer and Praise Night, UC Rangos 3

May 2nd    - Sharing Night, UC Danforth

  * We’ll be taking a bus to PCC for Good Friday Service, stay tuned for more information about that

  Also, T-shirts are here! We’ll be selling them at $10 each (along with previous years’ shirts) before and after Large Group. If you wish to purchase your shirt before Large Group, please come at least ten minutes early. We don’t want this to interfere with the time set aside for worship / the message so we’ll be concluding sales a bit before 7 so we can start on time. But we’ll be selling shirts after Large group as well. If you’re out of town this week, or unable to purchase, just find me on campus after Friday and I can get one to you.

I laughed a LOT today.

Partially because it had been a long day and I was tired. But also mostly because my friends are HILARIOUS.

I have been so blessed lately by great community--at Church, at bible study, with my friends, at work. It's just been so nice to be with people who aren't afraid to talk about stuff (important stuff, funny stuff, lame stuff, you name it I've probably discussed it this week). It just makes me feel so full and brimming with the presence of God. Which is a precious thing, when you are receiving fellowship (or, hanging out with people who care about you to be SUPER simplistic) and feeling God in it.

I am so very thankful to have people who love me, people who make fun of me, and people who take care of me, in my life. 

My friends are so awesome they're the current background on my phone. Every time I go to unlock it I see my friends and smile--because they're awesome. 

Love you guys. 

And now I shall sleep and then wake up and then have eggs and toast. YUM.
