SO.

I MADE A CONNECTION.

I was rereading Mistborn because it took way less brain energy to do a reread than to read a new Cosmere book. I was reading The Final Empire and I got to the part where Elend Venture got one of House Venture's spies to follow "Valette Renoux".

The spy's name was Felt. I thought that seemed familiar. I just read the chapter of Wind and Truth where Felt came to Lasting Integrity as a member of the Ghostbloods to kidnap Kalak!!!!

IT'S THE SAME FREAKING GUY!!

He used "rusts" as a swear in Oathbringer or Rhythm of War!!

I'm so happy I figured it out allll by myself! ☺️

HOLY CRAP I knew Felt was an offworlder because he said rusting one time, but HE'S A GHOST BLOOD SPY?!

... Where did he come from again?

Also, even crazier, the seon was an actor too. Like, even reading Elantris did NOT prepare me for that idea. Even Pattern's reveal in Rhythm of War did not prepare me!! It's such a long con to have done totally on her own, I just had never thought to think a seon capable of doing that! (I know, totally my bad.)

I guess it makes sense in hindsight. The Sleepless spied on Hoid with a well-hidden cremling, but I don't think they're affiliated with the Ghostbloods, so the Ghostbloods also had a spy--hidden in the best way possible: as the very communication device. Dang, Wit got doubly compromised lol. Yikes

Also, Felt knows Kelsier personally to some degree 👀 He calls him Lord Kelsier, not Thaidakar, and says he doesn't work for "that masked witch".

I'm gonna have to review where Felt came from ig. Can't remember how he joined them actually.
