I wasn’t born knowing what I wanted to do with my life. I had to run experiments. I had to fail. I had get exposed to trauma—and fleeting moments of victory—to really know myself—and know my WHY. People who judge me have absolutely zero (0) fvcking clue about the long trail of heartache, blood, and trauma that led me to become who I am. But in the process of learning more about myself I also came to realize that the greatest treasures in this life—which none of us deserves—are the people who stand by you and support you through all of your crazy experiments; your insane adventures and wild leaps of faith for no other reason than that they know it’s important to you. They’re ready to go to war for you—however bleak the odds. They never judge. They never question. They never criticize, belittle, or demean. They just stand by you and support you in whatever way they can. They may not even agree with what you’re doing but they support you because it’s you and that’s all they need to know. These people are your TRUE family. What could we have possibly done to deserve them?
