I'm currently working on the next chapter of Legacy of Aretia and I won't lie, this one is taking me a little longer because it has a little fight scene and if you've been following my writing for a while, you know those are always the hardest part for me to write. 😅
But here's a little sneak peek at what's coming next:
I took one deliberate step forward until I towered over him.
Lowering my voice so only he could hear, I said,
"Lay a hand on my son, and it'll be the last thing you ever do, Tauri."
His eyes widened. He hadn't expected the threat.
I leaned in another fraction.
My gaze dropped meaningfully to the ornamental sword hanging at his hip.
"We both know only one of us is carrying a real sword."

I still haven't decided whether I should change the title. One day I'm convinced it should stay, the next I'm ready to rename it Fen's Second Chance. I fully blame being a Libra for this.

Chapter 24: Letters of Legacy of Aretia is now up!
