There’s one thing Abigail knows for certain—she’s going to be the best of the best, no exceptions.
She simply won’t accept anything less.
Born to teen single mom Claire Graham, Abigail was raised with all the love and affection in the world—and perhaps told a little too much how amazing she is. Fiercely competitive and intelligent by nature, Abigail tends to run circles around her classmates and has the ego to prove it. She’s vowed to leave her podunk small town of Strangerville behind the moment she graduates high school, and is certain she’ll achieve great things… or so she says. A deeper insecurity lurks below the facade of her superiority complex, though that’s not a side she lets anyone see often—if ever.
While they haven’t officially met yet, Abigail has preemptively declared Fern her nemesis. She refuses to tell anyone why she dislikes Fern so much, simply insisting they’re now rivals—even if Fern is completely unaware of this.
Her lingering stares at Fern and bright-red cheeks whenever the girl walks by, Abigail says, are due to her complete and utter hatred—and no one had better claim otherwise!
Fun facts & bonus pics (including of Claire!) under the cut!
FUN FACTS:
Absolutely, 100% has a baby crush on Fern that she’s unable to deal with. Probably writes her a letter that says “Get out of my school.” I suppose whether or not this crush remains unrequited all depends on your gameplay 🤭
Raised by her single mom Claire, who got pregnant with Abigail at her senior prom. Claire is a wonderfully loving and kind mom whose whole world revolves around her daughter, but she’s also irresponsible and has horrible taste in men.
Abigail’s dad is not in the picture, but her paternal grandparents visit from time to time and love Abigail dearly. Claire’s parents have passed away.
Claire works in retail, so she and Abigail don’t have a ton of money—luckily Abigail’s paternal grandparents do, so while Claire and Abigail live relatively frugally, the grandparents step in when needed.
Is very into anything competitive, both mental and physical, but particularly loves archery even though it’s a more “solo” sport. She also loves horseback riding, but only gets to do it when she visits her grandparents, who retired to a ranch in Chestnut Ridge.
Hates yoga and mindfulness, largely because her mom forces it on her. She does NOT need to calm down! (Yes she does.)
Hates playing violin only because she sucks at it… and she does not like being bad at things. Luckily, she’s good at most things she tries.
Is naturally gifted, but above all a hard worker—her achievements aren’t pure talent, they’re effort, though she tends to try to pass herself off as someone who’s good at things without even trying.
