These promise to be some powerfully mundane tidbits, but here we go…
1. In Bloom is, by far, my favorite Nirvana song.
2. I speak 4 of the 5 major Romance languages.
3. I expect that within the next 15 years I’ll no longer be living in the United States.
4. I really don’t understand interpretive dance. Whenever somebody does one on So You Think You Can Dance and they talk about how it represents the yearning to escape poverty and the judges all start crying and shit, I’m always like “Huh…I think I liked the popping and locking better.”
5. I’ve scored over 1 million points in one game on Defender.
6. I am old enough to remember what Defender is and when it came out.
7. I really like “The New Girl” (mostly because it stopped being a Zooey Deschanel quirk-fest) but I haven’t watched it in months.
8. My first major in college was philosophy, then I switched to journalism, then eventually to French.
9. When I was a child my favorite snack was a lemon sliced in half with salt on it.
10. At 189cm I am only of average height within my immediate family.
11. More than one of my maternal AND paternal grandparents and great grandparents lived past the age of 100.
12. I laughed so hard watching Wedding Crashers in the theater that I thought I was going to get kicked out.
13. I taught myself to play the guitar in Japan using a guitar a friend had found while dumpster diving.
14. I actually really, REALLY like weddings.
15. I am a BIG fan of pre-1996 country and western music.
