Nugu GG of the Week #138 : Ferry Blue (part 4)
Free is the 4th single from Ferry Blue, it was released this September. Free is a fun dance track with a very pretty production, parts of the beat kinda remind me of songs by WJSN/GWSN a little, if they were under a big company/had a budget I could picture this song being their space girl concept era.
They aren't the strongest singers but idk their voices/tones sound interesting 🧐 plus fit their music very well. Also bonus points for doing some adlibs at the end of the song, like we just aren't getting that anymore.

Underrated bop of the day is "Call My Name" by Ferry Blue!
This girl group debuted today with an absolutely bonkers song with a LOT going on in it, just like aespa's Next Level and LAYSHA's Pink Label, but with a more chill vibe. I always end up loving those kinds of songs and I'm sure this one is going to grow on me too.

Nugu GG of the Week #135 : Ferry Blue (part 1)
Ferry Blue (페리블루) is currently a 6 member (formerly 7) girl group that debuted in 2021 and are still active. They aren't a 'normal' girl group as they were formed by the "Dance Department of Paekche Institute of the Arts", so kinda similar to a former Nugu of the Week, ONEST (y'all still streaming Wisp?), however unlike ONEST they have signed to a company are still releasing music today.
The group is made up of Jin Dozin (nugu darling), Xiho, Hyeyoung, Seul, Seona, Hyunji and former member Yeji.
They debuted with Call My Name, a fun and simple pop song with some tropical beats on the production. The song can feel a bit empty sometimes but their voices are nice so it showcases them better. One of the rapper girls kinda reminds me of Jia of miss A a touch 🤔
