I have got to remember not to eat oranges in the morning if I want my allegra to work today 🤧
INB4 SOMEONE PISSES ON THE POOR, because i constantly see misinfo and hysteria about fruit juice/vitamin c and meds, eating/drinking oranges (or apples, grapefruits, and maybe a few other fruits) and allegra WILL NOT POISON YOU or make you see the Hat Man, it'll just reduce the potency in the allegra and make you susceptible to your regular allergies. And that only happens if you eat oranges two hours before or two hours after taking your allegra. And it's not the vitamin c that does this, it's a protein within these fruits themselves. You can still get your Daily Recommended Value of vitamin c while on most meds.
That said, grapefruit CAN AND DOES directly affect other (and by "other" I mean "a LOT of") medications to varying degrees of danger, so always check your meds against grapefruit specifically. And again, it's something in the grapefruit specially, you can still ingest vitamin C and other fruits/juices even while on heart meds or ADHD meds or what have you, just not grapefruit unless otherwise cautioned by your doctor, pharmacist, or even Drugs.com. (And as someone who has eaten a grapefruit before being put on meds, trust me when I say you're not missing much.)
Anyway take your meds, always check for interactions, and don't get scurvy
