RE: the Eshen conlang for which I am writing a creation story to inscribe in a clay book

In making the conlang, I assigned the female prefix as 'el', because I want them to be a matriarchal society, and this links through to the start of the word for nation/peoples - 'eshen' ('shen' being a tree).

The suffix of 3rd person singular object pronouns are 'o', making 'her' be 'elo'.

This causes some... issues regarding Elowyn's name, and it's shortening of 'Elo' 🤦️

I will probably change the feminine prefix to something else....

when you summon Whiskey, his snakes appear first, slithering out of the flames like trickling oil, their black scales dark as the night but reflecting nothing, not the golden glow of the circle nor the dancing fire still burgeoning, as if they absorb all light.

then Whiskey appears in the flames, and his red, red eyes, even hidden behind his glasses, have the same trait.

Trans!Spaghetti (Food Fantasy)

Quick note: Thank y'all again in the food fantasy lore server for hearing me out on this idea! ❤️🍝❤️

Anyway, soi had this idea; what if Spaghetti was transgender, originally female? I know, sounds a bit crazy, but hear me out.

A female is in a society where men look down on women, and women have no chance at rising to a position of power. The only chance they have is to find a man of high power and ride his coat tails, sitting like a pretty decoration on his arm, or find a man stupid enough but charming enough to manipulate.

Or you disguise yourself as a man.

So Spaghetti, being a women, and not wanting to have to rely any on the men who betrayed and subsequently killed his Master Attendant, disguises himself as a noble man (probably even using his dead MA's clothes) and wiggled his way up the male dominated food chain, until he finally reached the top.

Of course, his problems don't end there.

Once he reaches the top, finnaly getting his revenge, of course he just doesn't want to give up everything he's worked so hard for. So, he builds his empire, with his group of food souls he takes in. Of course, only those he is closest to knows the truth of him actually being a female.

Borscht knows because she was the first Food Soul he felt comfortable telling his darkest secrets too. She tries to help him as much as she can, taking over when Spaghetti is on his period, or when he just gets so mad at his own body (which he hates being reminded of being a female, cause it makes him feel super weak and such), and just generally helps him and is a silent shoulder to lean on when he really needs one.

Black Pudding only knows cause she has to give Spaghetti his medicine on his period. Or, rather, she has to give the medicine to Oyster, as Spaghetti sometimes cannot have any of the girls around him, or he'll blow up\implode. Borscht and Oyster tried to hide it from her, but she is too nosy and found out. But she has kept her promise to keep it a secret.

Oyster is the only one who can console Spaghetti when he gets super mad\depressed. Mostly because Oyster doesn't quiet directly remind him of his body and what he is ashamed of. More like Oyster reminds him of what he wants to be, and see it in a more positive light (with Oyster's help) about being masculine. Also, especially when Spaghetti is on his period, Oyster is the only one that can sometimes touch him and give him medicine, if Spaghetti is consolable.

The rest of the group, Black Forrest Cake, Stargazey Pie, B-52 (when he was with them), they don't know cause they can't be trusted, or they dont want too many people to know, or feel like they won't understand and possibly let it out without knowing the possible consequences. Spaghetti is just really parinoid about letting others know about him actually being a female, so he keeps it under tight wraps (much like his chest wink wink sorry that was a bad pun lol).

But yeah, today Spaghetti still fights with depression about still having a female body, when he wants a male body. He still views his female side as weak, useless, and good for nothing. So, those in the pasta platoon who know have to constantly encourage him, reminding him of how strong he is, etc. He also always makes sure, even in the smallest, menial things, that he appreciates the support and always gifts them little things, especially after his meltdown periods he gets. Also, gets super emotionally involved in jobs where the person is known to look down on women. (tbh i think canon Spaghetti is the same way, but trans! spags has a relatable reason ontop of him thinking they are utter scum)

So yeah! thanks for reading this! i may draw up some stuff regarding this later, idk. I really like this idea. adds yet another layer to Spaghetti, and its always fun draw my #1 favorite villian from food fantasy and his family!

Headcanon

Headcanon (reality?) That Caviar is addicted to LSD and everyone just answers "mmm k whatever you say Cav"

Caviar: "When you stare into the darkness, the darkness will also stare into you."

Everyone: You uh ... Good there m8?

Caviar: "You ... stand out somewhat from everyone else. I feel like you have great potential ... perhaps ... We are from the same world"

MA: "K"

Caviar: "I feel the world changing. It needs me."

Could you post your ToastPudding story please? I'm going to write one of my own and I would really like to have some inspiration to keep me going!

i kinda wanted to write one buti never found the right time to do so because of work and stuff ( i once posted a little bit it’s in the ff toast tag i think)but i could give you some headcanons if you’d like:

(i went kinda overboard lol)

against what most people think it was pudding who confessed first . as soon as he reliased his fellings he thought about it and deducted that it would be the best move (thats what he likes to say but it was actually jello’s idea)

it wasnt romantic or so they were closing up for the evening and pudding just told him after he then had done his cleaning

toast was suprised he didnt see it coming (and almost droped the dishes he was putting away)

afterwards pudding quickly leaved 

at first toast thought it minght be a dare or so but then again pudding wouldnt do something like that 

toast then wanted to speak with him about it but pudding started to avoid him

when toast went to the ice arena he left, he would volunteer for the air ship / orders and stuff

toast went to jello for help and she got pudding to listen to toast( he dosent know how and pudding wont talk about it and when he asks jelly she just smiles)

and they just hit it of after from then on (i seriously havent thought about this part yet i love drama so im better at coming up with misunderstandings and such than the resolving ending)

toast likes scratching pudding with his stubels

toast found out that pudding knows how to style hair from jello (because he does it for her sometimes) 

after a lot of presuasion and a promise to not tell anyone pudding agreed to do his hair (omurice would either tease him or be jealous about him doing jello’s hair and he’d rather not have to deal with that)

toast may have one or two spare glasses but puddings collection is on a whole new level ( when he first found it he was alone in puddings room because he had to get something but as he returned he found toast wearing at least ten pairs simulainiously)

pudding steals toasts shirts (when he first saw that toast almost died it was too much for him)

toast gets pudding to relax and turn his manager mode off which is something even jello cant pull off that often

they kept their realationship a secret at first , pudding just wanted to keep it profesionel and not because he’d scream at every food soul who’d try to talk about romance with him out of embarrassment ( toast saw through him almost immediately played along)

the master attendant was the first one to find out. they were missing some ingredients so pudding volunteered to go to the market real quick and toast decided to tag along they had a rather romantic evening but what they didnt expect was that the master attendant decided to go tp the market as well shortly after them  (a suprise order came in so they had to buy more stuff) so just imagine this moment : toast and pudding hug/kiss beneath a street lamp the sun is setting the town is painted in a warm red/orange the street is empty because atmosphere. they remain standing close for a bit longer afterward and then the fucking master attendant just exitsa near by store and walks by not even stopping and pudding immediately freezes, toast the has to convince pudding that the MA wouldn’t tell the others about them or do anything else they wouldn’t want. pudding agrees but as soon as they entered the restaurant almost every food soul sits in the dining part (with jello being rather amused at a tomato red pudding) and they all just go “so how long??” and ask questions with chocolate declaring that they can and should come to him if they have problems he’s after all the love expert. a horrified pudding stormed into the storage room where the MA is preparing the order and ask them way they told everyone the visibly confused MA can’t even declare their innocence before jello (who as well as toast followed him) says that it was orange juice /nasi lemak (i have this headcanon that those two are the central figure of any gossip spreading around the restaurant) both had accompanied the MA earlier pudding and toast were just to surprised at a wild MA appearing to see them( i actually eanted to draw a comic about that scene but i acidentally deleted the wip and went to bed)

the whole comotion died down rather quickly after black tea gave everyone disaponted glare and the MA threw a “i expected more from you “at them 

it took pudding some time to actually ask the MA what they thought about the realtionship (they just gave a tumps up a wink and said to “keep it quite while working”) 

after doing one too many fake kissy sound around pudding omurice gets kicked in the shines so hard he minght have cried if he jello hadnt been around 

after the big reveal toast find himself having chocolates pat his shoulder followed up by a “feel free to talk with me about anything” almost daily (mainly because pudding just gave chocolate a judmental glare and silence the one time he did that with him)

jello now drages pudding along to almost every “girl talk” about romance (chocolate wants to be invited to those but he kinda went overboard that one time and lets just say they dont want to shoulder another flower bill and the MA’s disapointed head shake like this again)

the only time toast listend to chocolate was to just buy pudding flowers he bought him a smal yellow bouquet because it remined him of puddings eyes (and he actually managed to talk chocolate ,who had decided to tag along, out of buying the biggest rose bouquet the shop had)

pudding looked like as if he’d explode any second thats how hard he blushed  (he even forgot that they were infront of the restaurant and everyone could see them .the MA just looked at them and said “nice” before going back to work)

anyway, here’s a random hc

Bifty actually really likes sweets. Not NEARLY to napo’s level, but he definitely likes them.

It took him awhile to actually realize this though. He was slow to even try food, because he viewed it as an unnecessary luxury for food souls (or, to him, machines) to eat. But napo said “cmon, humans LOVE desserts!” And bifty caved. From that point on, he actually enjoyed sweets quite a lot.

He would never ask someone to make him sweets, or even go to a bakery to buy some, but he’d definitely try and share some of Napo’s.

When Brownie finds out, he makes a batch especially for B-52. Bifty has no idea how to react, but is grateful nevertheless.

Prajna HC and Imagine

So I had this HC that Prajna is emotionless be cause the strings attached to it by Orochi deprives it of feeling as it hinders them of doing their job to protect Orochi.

The strings are cut and Prajna is purified to freedom from an emotionless pact with Orochi. In his new home, he slowly gathers himself how to feel but learns that emotions are just another form of strings that he will tangle himself once more.

So imagine this

Prajna slowly learning about emotions and falls for his food soul. His food soul has been nothing but kind after all. Today he, after much prodding from his fellow fallen and extremely confusing explanations, decides to tell his feelings to his food soul. Prajna didn't know the stakes for his actions and always told his food soul of his new discovered emotion anyway so what difference would it make if he told him that his stomach felt weird and his chest feels tight whenever he sees him. He wasn't afraid to tell! He was Brave anyway! And Certainly, his food soul Prajna has so highly regarded could explain this concept his fellow fallen had called "loved" better than anyone else.

He planned on telling these after they purify another embryo of his kind. He always dreaded it when he learns the kind of embryo master attendant brings home. Since the arrival of Inugami, her aura brought back memories of being controlled by Orochi and his cruel rule over them. It was the first few times he felt negative emotions as what his food soul explained to him.

Before approaching his FS, Prajna searched for his friends Conchi and Bulma but couldn't find them. Perhaps, they were at the purification room with master attendant and his food soul. Prajna opened the door and extreme fear creeped into his heart.

Orochi

And his food soul and master attendant was extremely happy to see Orochi! Prajna back down but he was called by his food soul. He didn't want to stay in this room and wanted to run..but he didn't want to ignore his food soul. He was calles again by his food soul and with a firmer voice.

Food Soul smiled at Prajna that made his heart swell.

"Hello Prajna, I have something to ask of you today."

"Anything, but I don't want it related to that Orochi please. You know how afraid I am"

"Such a pity. Your friends were more than willing to oblige."

"W-what? Conchi and Bulma? I was searching for them! Have you seen them?"

"Why yes Prajna. In fact, why don't I lead you with them?"

"oh uhm it's ok! Just tell me where and I'll go."

"Ah but I told you, you have something to do for me."

Prajna was so confused for what FS wanted him to do. He could also practically feel the Orochi staring at him. Master Attendant broke the silence.

"Please get this over with. I need to do something else with the restaurant."

"As you wish Master" Food soul replied and faced me.

"Prajna, I will cut the chase. I don't need you anymore."

"W-what"

"You understand how you got stronger don't you?"

Prajna nodded slowly. He absorbed the life force of the lesser fallen angels. He practically ate them. His stomach fell and Prajna understood his fate.

"Great. Now you will still help me get stronger but it is now through as a feeding process for Orochi. He can provide me much better feats from now on. Thank you Prajna. Goodbye"

Orochi opened his mouth and Prajna's vision dimmed and his gaze at his food soul became hazy until it was nothing. His last emotions was feeling like his heart was about to break. Perhaps, he needed a new part to replace.

HAHAHAHAHHA FAK IDK. Im actually thinking that Food Soul is Peking Duck lol but I chose to leave it as just Food Soul.

(P.S. I bullshited this lol and not exactly fanfic ish and is just a summary of the details I had in mind)

Bonus:

The Orochi that ate Prajna was a Meticulous one. Master Attendant wanted nothing of it and ordered food soul to use it as enhancement to the Orochi they will actually need.

Prajna opened his eyes. Why was he alive once more? Ws he reincarnated? Here he was again in a capsule, smoke coiled from below and silhoutte of two individuals behind it. But he was only seeing with one eye, his clothes felt heavier and his skin softer, non wood like. He looked down and he was also floating!

"Hello"

Prajna couldn't breathe. He recognized that voice. He'd heard it in his happiest days and heard it in his last. The silhoutte revealed his old master and food soul.

"Finally! I'm hoping this one is what we need!"

Food Soul tapped the capsule. FS was testing his nature and he happily obliged. Prajna attempted to attack the food soul from the inside and master attendant's smile widened from ear to ear. Prajna looked at his hands. His palms were smooth and visible joints were no longer there. He looked back at food soul who was smiling at him.

Prajna was ready to face his love once more, now as an Orochi that his food soul favored more than he was just a Prajna. He can do this. He's a brave one after all.

Bamboo Rice + MA Headcanons

anon, at first i had to keep telling myself “he’s not green ryoma, he’s not green ryoma (from fire emblem)” so i’m sorry if these are a little off the mark, but tbh writing this made me really really like him and now he’s one of my favs even though i still haven’t summoned him! what a precious, pure boy :)))

You couldn’t help but be enamored with this boy’s natural charm and good looks. You became friends quickly because everything is so straightforward with him, no subterfuge, so it’s always easy to gauge where you stand.

Unfortunately, this came with the side effect of Bamboo Rice becoming extremely overprotective of you and a bit clingy because of his lack of understanding of human relationships.

"Can't you just talk to me? Why do you still need other people?!"

Is extremely jealous when you summon new food souls until you reassure him nothing has changed. He’s especially not a fan if you’ve already made a contract with Boston Lobster, the two of them fight over you constantly, though Boston Lobster would never admit that’s the reason why they don’t get along.

Like Peking Duck, he’s friendly to the other food souls and finds them curious, but also enjoys his space away from them. You can usually find him sitting in a tree, watching other people, talking to animals or occasionally singing (he’s surprisingly good at it) if he knows you aren’t around.

Very helpful, like almost aggressively so. If you mention you need anything, he’s there by your side to do it immediately.

Sometimes his enthusiasm gets the best of him and you have to remind him of the social norms he missed out on living in the forest like how you can’t just go up to people and touch them without asking!

And though he means well, sometimes he says a bit too much of what's on his mind, which has occasionally offended others and you’ve had to tell him to go apologize as he stood there bewildered.

Also very tactile. He has no problems hugging you, invading your personal space, leaning on you or cuddling. While you don’t mind, it’s given others the impression there’s more going on between the two of you than you let on.

He’s ticklish. So very very ticklish.

Would definitely try and get you to play with animals with him. No beast scares him, though he does have respect for the larger and more dangerous ones. He would definitely point out any information about their temperament he’s learned when dealing with them to you and try to get you to handle all sorts of creatures he knows, even ones out of your comfort zone like bugs!

Big Ah and Little Ah are your favorites though because they’re the only ones that are close to being domesticated. You love the way they follow him around and chatter back to him and they even listen to you sometimes, though Big Ah sometimes has more of a stubborn streak.

Would never pick up on the subtleties of flirting. If he ended up liking you (which he most likely will) as more than a friend, he’ll just say it flat out when he realizes it, but isn’t sure where to go from there.

“I don’t know where we go from here, so you’ll need to show me. Whatever it is, I want to do it. I want you to never leave me, okay? I want us to be together forever, Master Attendant.”

Kissing at first is strange lip smashing he’s seen other people do and didn’t totally understand, but gets the hang of it pretty quickly. He’s a quick study and soon you find yourself weak in the knees everytime you end up kissing.

A very good boyfriend, if a bit rowdy at times. Your favorite sound is the happy sigh he makes when you run your hands through his messy hair or scratch his scalp gently with your fingernails. 

Afterward, he’ll wrap you in a hug and ask you if you want anything. Something to eat? A bath? A massage?

If you don’t end up dating, he’ll become a great friend, but quite jealous of the time suitors take you away from him. Definitely makes it known if anyone hurts you, they’ll have him to answer to afterward, which is a bit scary for some souls to think about.

Very brave, but fights dirty and unrefined. He uses everything at his disposal and has a passion most of the other souls lack. But because he puts every ounce of effort into battling when you bring him along, he’s usually to the point he’s near exhaustion when you return back.

A surprisingly good cook, considering how he’s lived so far. His dishes are fresh, simple, and really bring out the natural flavors of the food.
