During their younger days in Cosmo Canyon, Fuhito shows Elfe a forest that has died of drought due to Shinra's excessive mako excavation.

This isn't necessarily romantic but I love exploring their relationship.

A piece I did for the 20th anniversary for FF7: Before Crisis in September.

Shears, Elfé, and Fuhito of Avalanche.

BC Avalanche trio practice/reference doodles for me to try and draw them more consistently.

Notes:

Elfe - I've been trying to find an interpretation of the spikes in her hair for a while. I ended up looking at Vincent's hair for reference and made her hair more layered. - Despite how few official art there is of her, her eye color has been pretty inconsistent. They're amber in the animated trailer, then grey or blue in different renditions of her in-game portrait. However, in the most hq version of her portrait that I found, they're a dark violet, so that's what I'm going with for now. (Same goes for Veld's eyes, since they're supposed to be the same.) Shears - Nomura didn't seem to bother giving him and Fuhito different eye/hair colors, so I did. Shears' hair is a lighter brown, and I gave him green eyes to contrast Fuhito's brown. - His hair is styled kinda like a mullet, shorter on the front half and longer on the back. - He has a single earring in his left earlobe (hc). - Not shown here but he also has a sleeve tattoo on his right arm (hc).

Fuhito - Has a round ear piercing in both ears (hc). - His hair appears to be slicked back, so I made a doodle of what it would look like hanging down. Interesting how Rufus also gets a similar slicked-back style by the end of BC.
