When you want to do replies but the replies you need to do are longer replies and you just don’t have the focus or awareness to do long replies.

So I usually have a pretty high threshold for pain

But I have come to find that a particularly nasty ear canal infection is a pain I am not so good at handling.

The pain is so bad it hurts to turn my head, I have pain that throbs and radiates into the side of my face and down into my jaw. The infection is starting to move into my throat so that’s cool. I can’t sleep. I can’t eat. 

I’m actually pretty miserable right now. I was able to go to the doctor’s today and get antibiotics but they wouldn’t give me anything for the pain despite my history of resistance to regular pain killers. 

I know I can tough it out. It just might go insane by the end. lol

Well...

I managed to get some replies done. It’s been a long ass month for me. I meant to get them posted yesterday, but a lot of things have happened, including my niece being born the day before. So between that and the fact that I’ve been working every single day (literally every single day), I’ve been preoccupied and tired as hell.

I’ve started more, and they’re in my drafts. It just might take a day or more before they’re posted. Please be patient with me.

I am desperate to get all of my replies done. Both on here and on discord.

But I am on a fourteen day stretch for work. And before that it was one day off after about...seven or eight days in a row. Because right now it’s just myself and one other person in my section.

And I still have...eight days to go before I have a day of freedom.

My brain is more than a little fried but I’m trying. Please just bear with me.

🥕 - What do you think about the current theme trends?

I’m going to be real honest. I didn’t even know this was a thing. There are theme trends?

🌽 - Is there a fandom you’re too intimidated to join?

Not really. I’ve never been intimidated by a fandom. I’m more intimidated by individual roleplayers. Especially if they’ve listed that they’re semi-selective or selective. I might look at their rules, but chances are I won’t follow or engage. In my mind I think “They’re selective so I literally have no chance in interesting them in the muses I have to offer so what’s the point?”The whole selectivity thing really intimidates me.

🌶 - Do you find your muse attractive?

 I think all of my babies are beautiful! That said, I think of it as a sort of parental type situation. What parent doesn’t think their children are beautiful? Can you think of any worthwhile parents who look at their kids and go “Good god you’re butt ugly.”

🥔 - What’s the dumbest mistake you’ve made in rp?

I can think of a few. One being, sometimes I think sending in random memes to people I’ve never interacted with is a fun way to break the ice. I would say like 80% of the time they get ignored. Makes me feel pretty freaking dumb. Don’t really know why I try ha ha. XD

Another thing is staying friends/rp partners with people who have proven to be toxic. Or toxic for me, at least. I’ve had many roleplay partners who have guilted me and pressured me into doing what they wanted or put me down for not having the time to reply as quickly as they wanted me to. And because they were mad at me for not being around as much as they wanted me to be, they would take it out on my muses. There’s one particular partner I can think of who was a lot of fun to rp with, buuut things got really weird ooc. She became obsessed with me? Had herself convinced she was in love with me? Which, she didn’t really know anything about me. But I think she was taking the personality of my character and confusing it with who I was. We were in many rps together, and eventually I had more characters. She would want them all, and would get insanely jealous whenever I interacted with anyone else, even if it was a purely platonic interaction. It came to a point where even when my female characters (characters she wanted nothing to do with because she was strictly a male on male rper), interacted with others or anyone shown any interest in them, she would get angry and jealous and tell me she didn’t want me to interact with other people.

I stayed friends with these people far longer than I should have because I felt bad about the idea of abandoning them. Which is crazy! I was being emotionally abused and isolated, and as a result, became very depressed. And these are just the tip of the iceberg really, I’ve had many rp partners who have done some not so great things to me and to my characters. I should have cut my losses early on with these people. But I didn’t. To me, that’s pretty freaking dumb.

I get that’s not exactly what the question was asking, but this is what came to my mind.

🥜 - What’s the nuttiest thread you’ve ever had? 

I don’t know if I could really consider any of the threads I’ve ever done to be “nutty”. I’ve done lots of crazy threads, but I suppose it would depend on what you would constitute as as nutty. I’ve had characters become gender swapped, get sucked into an enchanted world through a book, switch bodies with other people, even switch bodies with animals.It’s all crazy, but I don’t know if I could call it nutty. lol

I am so glad I don’t work tomorrow.

It has been a few long very busy past few days at work.

My bad ankle is swollen so much lol I need some time to just relax and then I swear I’ll be getting to replies and maybe to some starter call things.
