🕳 The Hole Paradox - After 40 minutes of walking up a steep climb, through rocks, blocks and dry vegetation, under a blazing sun, we finally felt a current of fresh air and arrived at this gaping hole in the mountain. A black hole, where darkness and coolness contrasted with the light and screen heat of a summer sun. The Alpine Choughs alerting us to their presence, this gaping hole was their refuge, and for a few hours were going to disturb their peaceful home. After abseiling 60m to the bottom, we touched this ground which had nothing to do with the surface, damp, covered with moss, excroissances, bird bones, it was like discovering a new world, a forgotten world. Just Happiness for us and paradoxically, this black hole was now a hole of light in this darkness.
