“hmmm,” lia tapped her fingers on the table, thinking. was there anything surprising about her personality, or was all of that stuff so hidden she couldn’t even remember it existed. “well, i mean–i have this tendancy…” she paused, feeling her cheeks flush with embarassment at the thought. “well, i have this tendency to become mildly obsessed with the things i love–and when i mean things, I mean Target.” She raises her hands like shes innocent and laughs. “I know, I know–but I can’t help it. There’s like…some kinda black–red?–magic that pulls you in. Once it grabs you, you’re a goner.”

“What do you mean, how’s it self-defense?” Nic raises her eyebrow, lowering the remote that’s point at the screen to pause it. “Vi–look at this. Not only did she stop the intruder–she did it with style.” The blonde waived her hands around emphatically, trying to express how impressive this woman’s skills were. “this is why I’d thrive in a small town. self-defense with a little pizzaz. y’know, because if the neighbors are going to talk, might as well make it good.” she laughs, shaking her head. “how did we even start watching this shit anyway?”
