I don't often share fan art on here (mostly official works!). But these are two outstanding Final Fantasy Tactics works done by Robert Kim (aka: roburii). According to what few sources there are he's no longer with us. These two pieces have greatly wowed and inspired me, beautifully adapting Akihiko Yoshida's unique style with Kim's technique.

This scene from Final Fantasy Tactics captures Ramza Beoulve’s defining belief: that freedom cannot be bought, and power without pride is no freedom at all. Set during one of the game’s most powerful confrontations, this cinematic short pairs Ramza’s words with a monochrome fine art tribute inspired by Orbonne Monastery. I made this piece in honour of the recent Final Fantasy Tactics Ivalice Chronicles Remake.

Remembering the time back in 2016 when I found some custom sprite sets and portraits via FFT Romhacking sites, then DIY-ed them into a rompatch to implement the Blue Mage class plus an overpowered Heretic job for Chapter 4 Ramza (somebody’s gotta learn Divine Ultima and Meltdown, right?). I just wish I hadn’t kept all of it on an external HD prone to random (permanent) brain freezes before figuring out how to cloud.
