FG Sevil engine room fire; recovered #kegm #marmara #turkey #shipwreck
Photo: KEGM On October 31 the 104 meter long, 6647 dwt cargo vessel FG Sevil (IMO: 9548665) caught fire off Sedef Island in the Marmara Sea. The FG Sevil was en route to Bulgaria from Yalova when a fire broke out in the engine room. The vessel requested assistance with the KEGM rescue boat with multiple tugboats responding. The tugboats were able to help extinguish the blaze a few hours later.…
