Fanfiction Tracker
I love fanfic and I read a lot of it, and lately I’ve been trying to find ways to track what I’ve read, sort the fics I like and loved, etc., but nothing has proven to be 100% effective.
So, I was thinking of making a fanfic tracker site in which I could track my fics and sort them out, and automate that process a bit; kinda like a letterboxd, anime-planet, goodreads, etc. but for fics. It’d be mostly ao3 based, but I do plan for users to be able to add fics of other sites like ff.net, livejournal and even wattpad.
The thing is, I don’t know to code a site like that. I know a bit of coding but mainly on the design side, and even then it’s not much. So I’m here to recruit a team haha.
This would be a passion project, I have no money to pay you and I intend to keep the site as free as possible, following ao3 footsteps. However, if we do end up making money out of it, with the support of the users or whatnot, I’d share the profit. Either way, I believe this could be fun to make and I’m excited about it.

Fanfic Trackers
Since my journey into fanfic is very new, I never thought of keeping track of what I was reading. I just happily read new stories, stored them somewhere in my head and then would go into a sort of frenzy when I wanted to read one again, searching through every authors' Masterlist I could think off.
That's how I lost a few stories I really loved, like that Dieter one-shot where the author mentioned they might turn into a series and I have no way of knowing if this happened or not. (I'm still hoping to come across it one day...)
After a while, I just opened a note on my computer to copy/paste links of fics I wanted to read, was reading and had read, but it wasn't very satisfying.
Then I saw this repost by @punkshort of a fanfic tracker. The answer to all of my problems ! I came across some others while perusing through Tumblr and I thought I could share a few things I found that could help people keep track of what they are reading.
I already do that for published books and also love to set up a reading challenge, so why not do it here also and add more stress to my life. Fun !

Does anyone have a fanfic/book tracker, I've been looking at excel spreadsheets for it on etsy bc I really love that shit. I want all the data and to not only keep track of my books but also my fanfic for the years.
I just can't decide which to get. And there's way more for just books but I wonder if any could also be used for fanfic
