sorry I can't stop harping on this but like. The live version of wttbp on the bsides ep absolutely KILLS me because it is one of the first recorded live versions of the song EVER and people are like, messing up the single most iconic intro of the 21 century and laughing in the sparse akward silence. it sooooooo like it makes me cry sometimes look at how far you've come
#then theres also the metronome in the studio version but thats like. i never shut up about that. its such a human song with a human history#even the video. gerard gets on set for his crazyass fantasy death imagining and hes like. this is ground zero and i didnt even notice.#again the interplay of worldbuilding and honesty.... wttbp might be the most honest song about death through trying to create#fictionalize#anyway. song of all time!#my posts
