one thing about being polyfragmented that I don’t necessarily dislike, per se, but is something that’s very hard to talk about due to people’s reactions:
almost EVERYTHING we’ve interacted with, we have introjects from.
like having introjects niche fandoms is hard enough, but that’s not even the whole scope here. we have factives of random bloggers we follow. factives of people we’ve never even had a conversation with, and more often they aren’t even ‘popular’.
same goes for fictives, too - we have a lot of fictives of people’s ocs. not popular ocs, mind you, the ones that people just post on their blog occasionally. we have fictives of people’s ocs that only have one or two drawings to their name. sometimes we scroll toyhouse and get fictives from there.
this isn’t necessarily bad, at least for us - gaining new members isn’t painful - but. it gets to a point, yknow? We dont feel like we can talk about it. More often than not people get Really Weird about factives of themselves or fictives of their characters. All this fear about it would go away very fast if they didn’t do that! We can’t control it!
essentially: if you don’t want fictives from your work, don’t post it
me going 🤨 whenever a singlet says a character "lives in their head"
Saw a post about "reminder to systems" bla bla bla hurtful shit yk
So anyways
Reminder to all systems
Don't let people tell you that what happens in your system is wrong and faking. Everyone is different. If you treat your headspace as if it was a real place, so what? Does it hurt someone? No! Have fun, you've been through enough already and you don't need to worry about if you're faking or not. You have typing quirks? So what? As long as you're being respectful and giving translations, you're not doing anything wrong! Your littles don't speak 'normally'? So what! If it's how they talk, it's how they talk!
You're perfect the way you are, not one system is the same <3/p
Endos DNI this is not for you
please be normal abt endogenic systems and polyfrag systems and fictive heavy systems and systems w/o fictives and non-disordered systems etc etc etc. I’m tired
February 2nd. It's February 2nd. 02-02.
We had the minute of our lives at 2:22, so we are posting this at 22:22 to experience joy again. If it was Tuesday, then we would've lost our minds. /pos
POV: You're a system.
being a system that has quite a low split tolerance and fictive heavy is quite anxiety inducing when introducing ourselves online... like we started at around 7 and now we are at 48 and it takes WEEKS for a fictive to actually be allowed to show themselves usually because though we will hear things in our head it's just denial denial denial until they become too much to hide anymore.
and why do we do this??? because internet culture criticizes anyone and everyone who claims to have did and god forbid if they are NOT the "norm" of dissociative identity disorder.
