“i just wanna stay up all night with you”
since i’m away from the paranoid hustle of wattpad, i’m going to be a lady of leisure on my writings now, on ao3 and on my new campgrounds of fictionpad and ficwad *giggle*. chapters are going to be longer and i’ll still be writing them at my usual quick pace... but i’m also going to take it a bit easier on them now. i hated how it felt like i was being rushed on wattpad: so everything is going to be at a gentle pace now. the gentle pace i want and need.
i’ve got the artist and also amped and wired, but for my grand entrance on the two new sites, i’m doing up all night. i’m also doing 50k of it for nanowrimo this year because i know i’ll be going long. yeah, this won’t be no grocery store book and it sure as fuck won’t be no wattpad book.
now, i’ve teased up all night in the past before with headcanons and a couple of comics over on instagram, but i never exactly elaborated on it.
i’ve decided it’s going to be the “childhood friends to lovers” theme with joey and my oc hannah ellsberg, but with a twist: she was born in la but moved to denmark when she was a toddler and then back to the states when she’s in the fourth grade, so she not only grows up with joey but with lars, too. thus ensues a play on the love triangle trope. it’ll be slightly erotic but not too much (fictionpad has an 18+ section but ficwad seems a little frowny about it even though they have a section for nc-17 rated fics), and my way of erotica is more soft and sensual anyway.
basically a lengthy friendship story featuring my two round boys. named for the beck song and also because there’ll be a big part of it where the two of them and hannah are staying up all night.
oh! i’ll also be putting amped and wired and the artist on fictionpad once they’re done 💜

Got to meet up with my internet friend (Lexie or starlessblueeyes on here) that I've been talking to for three years because my mom had her graduation for her Tax Law master's degree at the University of Alabama.
I was so excited on the way over there from our hotel in Tuscaloosa. (We met at a mall in Dothan since it was close to where she lives and on our way back to Orlando yesterday.)
OMG It was fun even though we only spent an hour together and didn't even really speak of anything deep. I hope we'll do this again in the future.
I hope all y'all will one day get to meet up with the people you've gotten close to on here.

I'm thinking that I should probably backup my fics in places other than FF.Net, in case they suddenly decide to purge again and I kinda have some smut fics over there. I'm looking at AO3, Watt Pad, Dreamwidth, Ficwad and Goodreads right now. Anyone using the abovemention-ed sites with anything to recommend/comment? I'm looking for opinions here, thanks.
