Someone broke Elsa. 😫😠😡My only plant that has a name. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I’ve worked on this poor little tree for a year. And yes I am sad. Embarrassingly sad actually. 🤷🏼♀️ sometimes I feel that gnarly break in my soul (and not because of the plant). I mean LOOK at it. The tree looks like it’s in pain. Thankfully, @shegrowshere educated me telling me #fiddleleaffigs can be propagated. So now the leaves sit in a jar in water and I wait. AND I was so excited to share that the plant has 2 new buds not just the one. Anyways. Here’s hoping it roots. Here’s to wondering what the heck I’m gonna do with a naked tree trunk in my living room. Ideas anyone? It made me think of a song I heard years ago. “When no fruit is on the vine, I will trust in You”. Pretty sure that song had to do with a story about Jesus and a fig tree in the Bible. Maybe He’s trying to tell me something. Maybe He’s trying to tell you something. Ok. Good night. 🌱🌱🌱🌱 • • • • • #fiddleleaffigtree #fiddleleaffigpropagation #fiddleleaffigsofinstagram #happysunday https://www.instagram.com/p/B_MepK7JY7I/?igshid=1jxgkzy1ycmy7
