Eric had seen a few clips of the interviews, and while a little gorey, he supposed it was a great tactic to get people to watch. Pretending to kill the interviewees for shock value.

As a surprise, he’s decided to dress up and visit him during one of the tapings. He was only allowed to enter during the last few minutes, even though he insisted that Wilford and him were dating. Sitting just behind the director, he watches and tries to not be a distraction

One thing about Wilford was that he loved his job. He was born to be a superstar, charisma and talking ability uncompared to even the finest of TV hosts. Or at least that's what he told himself before every taping.

His latest guest was one of great interest. The network figured that the way to connect with more people would be a more diverse group of interviewees. So lately, they've been having more internet famous people come onto the show.

The only issue... this guy was boring. Seriously, food theories? God, how much more desperate can you get?

Wilford was simply nodding along, not wanting to hurt the man's feelings. But boy, he was getting bored.

Maybe their first few encounters hadn’t been the best, but Eric has slowly gotten closer to the Captain. After being invited by the mysterious glitching figure, which had taken a lot of bribing on Darks part, he’s been doing his best to acclimatize to the environment. Apparently, there’s something..wrong with him. Makes him important enough to have a temporary room. 

There’s swarms of figures everyday, one with bright pink hair (a story for another time), one is kind to him. Offering him books from shelves he can’t reach. Then, somehow, he’s suddenly reading to Magnum

The Captain remembered when he first arrived at the manor. He was one of 3 or 4 newbies that were taken in that day. To say he stood out like a sore thumb was an understatement. Then again, you always stand out when you tower about 2 feet above everyone else. But, he managed to fit in just fine, the other's accepting him with open arms.

Though, the one he was most drawn to was Eric. Their first few meetings hadn't exactly been the smoothest, with their opposite attributes clashing quite a bit. But once they found common ground, it'd led to smooth sailing, the Captain enjoying his company quite a bit.

Which is how they ended up here. Magnum had never been the best at reading, so he was more than happy to listen to Eric read one of his books.

It’s..embarrassing that he still has a fear of so many things after all these years. From what he’s been told, the accidents have heightened his anxiety severely, thus adding to his almost constantly growing list of phobias and fears. So it’s not a surprise he’s not sure he’s going to even be able to walk out of the door when he has to leave for the doctors. 

After the third accident where he was trapped in the crushed bus with his mother, he’s had to go for yearly checks on his scars. A lot them don’t heal right, so  it’s led to a prescription list as long as his arm. And it’s why he has to go to make sure they understand it’s not improving. 

After years of just doing online appointments, the hospital was beginning to suspect he could be lying, and were demanding a in person appointment, otherwise he’d be cut off. His dad isn’t bothered to go with him, and he needs someone to drag him out of the house. 

Bubbles: Can you come over? I have a favour to ask

It was a calmer day for Wilford. No filming was due today, he didn't have an interview scheduled. He was left to his own devices, with the promise that he wouldn't hurt or destroy anything important. Not that he'd planned to do such, but his family loved to keep him in check.

So, he was out and about in the world! He'd went to an ice cream parlor, got himself a 3 scoop neapolitan, one flavor for each scoop, and went out for a stroll. Sure, some people shot him weird looks, but he didn't give them any attention. They could stare if they wanted, he would just enjoy whatever the world had in store in him.

Well well well, who could that be?

'Salesboy💛: Can you come over? I have a favor to ask'

Turned out, the world had Eric to offer!

Salesboy💛: Of course! I'm on my way!

It’s too much again. The police moving in and out of the warehouse already makes it overwhelming enough. It doesn’t help that he found something that has made him cry non stop for nearly five hours. He’s finally dismissed for the day, but he can’t move. Everything hurts, and he shaking like he’s being dragged out of the wrecks again. He can only think of a number, and he calls it desperately. Nothing coherent is said by him. Just a mix of screams and begs for him to come and get him

No one calls Dark.

If they wanted to talk to him, they could find him themselves. Calling Dark was reserved for major emergencies. If someone was dying, then you call Dark. If someone was panicking, then you call Dark.

Otherwise, his phone was to remain silent.

So when he sees Eric is calling him, he immediately picks up.

He can't even get a word out before he hears the cries and the begging. And he doesn't even need to hear more than that. He has to get to Eric now.

"I'm on my way, Eric. Stay where you are."

"Yes, you can see me tonight. I'll try my hardest to not forget."

He'd have to start getting ready ASAP. He'd have to find his outfit for the night, and he'd have to pick a place to go.

"Don't let me hold you back any longer, dear. Tell me when you're done with work, okay?"

He’s still feeling odd after the incident a few days ago. Where he woke up at the crack of dawn, unsure of what had happened and in a questionable position. More days feel harder to remember, and there’s unexplained cakes kept in his fridge. And that smell. It’s like bags and bags of sugar right in front of him, but he can’t recognize where it’s from. 

While he’s at his desk, trying to work off another headache, he finds something in his desk. A sticky note reminding him to talk to a Wilford. It must have been some client his dad needed an order taken for. Somehow, he knows what number he needs, and calls him.

“H-Hello? Th-this is Eric..Er-Eric Derekson of Derek-Derek Dereksons Cha-Charity War-Warehouse.”

Ah, another beautiful, sunny day. He always loved days like this, not a cloud in the sky to bring him down. Wilford licked away at his ice cream, strawberry, since they didn't have bubblegum, walking to... He didn't even know where. Just wherever his feet led him.

Then, he feels it. His phone vibrating in his pocket. Who could be calling him? Last he checked, he didn't have to film anything today... But then again, he could be wrong.

He pulls out his phone and answers the call, not even bothering to look at the name.

Derek Dereksons Charity Warehouse?... It felt familiar, and yet, far away... And Eric Derekson... Again, familiar, but not enough... Strange.

"This is Wilford Warfstache speaking!"

It took some time, but he finally scrubbed the strawberry stains out of the cloth. He couldn’t get rid of the smell, but he supposes it’s a bonus, right? It’s not like he can keep the handkerchief no matter how much he wants to. 

‘Hi Wil! Sorry, I realized I still have your handkerchief. Do you want to meet up again so I can give it back to you? You could come over to the warehouse if you’d like, I can even give you a tour!’

Eric received a reply a few minutes later.

'You don't have to give it back to me, but I would love to meet up with you again, so yes! I'll be there right this minute!'

He wasn't lying either. That instant, Wilford stood outside of the oh-so popular charity warehouse.

'Where should I enter? Front door?'
