❛ What good is right or wrong if you’re dead? ❜
Visenya dared not look at him, the fire inside her burning almost as harsh as the fire that burned before her. Jaw clenched as eyes hardened, her chin dipping inward as she inhaled sharply better gazing at the crackling flames before her, flames she had envisioned devouring Dorne time and time again and all those within it, more than once more than twice, and the Princess who dare mock her pain by bringing the skull of her sister’s beloved dragon. While the two siblings held many similarities, the eldest was often quicker to act in her anger, less forgiving than her younger and harsher in many ways. However, he was her King, the rightful King and she would not go against what he wished or asked of her even if she did not wholly agree with it. Finally, her gaze breaks from the flames meeting with that of her brother and husband, amethysts harsher than ever before with a revengeful glint “What good is living if you do not do what you believe is to be right?” Visenya spits, not caring at this moment for titles and formalities, her sister had been taken from her. Aegon may not have thought it to be right but, she had and it angered her so not to be able to do what she felt was right.
