@fightforbetter​,                    look,  i  know  we  haven’t  seen  eye  to  eye--even  if  you  are  half  an  inch  taller  than  me--for  a  lot,  but  i  also  know  we  are  kinda  in  the  same  predicament.  i  was  a  surprise  surrogate  for  ric  and  jo’s  twins,  the  same  ric  and  joe  who  are  dead,  and  now  i’m  kinda  the  only  family  they  have.  now  i’m  left  raising  two  little  girls  who  i  think  i’m  starting  to  love  more  than  i’ve  loved  anything  and  it’s  scary  depend  on  me  for  everything.  they  cry.  it’s  like  they  know  i’m  not  their  mom,  or  that  i’m  a  blood  sucking  vampire,  and  nothing  i  can  do  helps.                   i’m  not  above  asking  for  help,  and  i’m  not  above  admitting  i’m  scared  overwhelmed.  i  have  no  one  to  ask  about  magic  babies,  so  this  is  why  i’m  writing  to  you.   -     caroline

it's the fear of the pack turning to her instead of hayley simply because she became a hybrid from giving birth to her own daughter. it's a responsibility that does not belong to her and is one that she isn't interested in usurping. "your denial makes me want to throw up. stop beating yourself up! you are the queen of this pack and therefore it's heart. and other loyalties? i don't think caring for your child is a sackable offense. you're hope's mother and our alpha, you get to be both. there's no rule that says you have to choose one or the other."

"not as many as you, i'm sure." clara knows that its a sore subject between them. they had entirely different upbringings so it was inevitable for there to be some semblance of tension between them. the werewolf just wished that they could settle their respective differences and leave it to what it was: the past. it seemed the past didn't want to stop interfering in their reconnection. clara allows a soft sigh to leave her lips before she shakes her head. "i haven't killed a lot of people, hayley. the only times that it's happened are when people want to murder me. usually for being who i am, which you can relate to more than anybody else. i just wish it didn't have to come to that. i might be a wolf, but i don't want to be a killer."

the words coax a small laugh out of lizzie, a fond smile sent in hayley's direction to let her know it's appreciated. things had been terrifying lately. being killed, coming back, newfound vampirism. lizzie wished that all the answers could fall out of thin air and land neatly on her lap. it seemed wishful thinking would get her absolutely nowhere. it's weird that hope's mother of all the people in the world was the one who came through and aided her when she needed it most. the mother of someone who meant a lot to her, but also shared a grievous past with the former siphoner. "you're right. but i've seen a lot of fearless people who somehow make it work. it's funny how the universe works."

              nothing  was  certain  in  the  world,  especially  not  in  a  world  like  sabrina  spellman’s.  things  always  seemed  to  change  in  an  instant  ---  almost  like  the  opposite  of  a  guarantee.  sabrina  was  well  used  to  this,  to  the  capricious  nature  of  her  existence.  after  all,  she  was  a  mockery  of  the  holy  trinity.  perhaps  it  was  only  fitting  for  a  cursed  existence.  still,  she  soldiers  on,  what  other  choice  does  she  have  ?  however,  that  doesn’t  make  it  easier  on  anybody  else.  she’s  aware  of  hayley’s  dual  nature,  a  wolf  &  vampire  all  in  one  ;  though  that  begs  the  question,  why  in  the  heaven  was  she  collapsed  on  the  ground  ?

            “    hayley  ?   ”   tone  turns  frantic,  blonde  sharply  dropping  to  kneel  beside  the  hybrid.   “   come  on,  you  have  to  wake  up.  hayley  !   ”   /   @fightforbetter​.
