This was going to be hard to spin in his favor once word got out. But right now, Skeletor didn’t really care.
He had spent an entire year playing nice. He had been civil towards every bloated noble, every two-faced royal, every spineless, goody-two-shoed ‘hero’ he had encountered. He had forced himself not to show the burning hatred he felt for his half brother. He had even allowed that useless twit of a son of Randor’s to live under the same roof as himself. He had kept his anger and violent nature in check save only for self defense. It had pained him, but he had been very good this year.
That went out the window the moment Arendelle got a visitor. A prince. A man who no one in the kingdom ever expected to see again. A man Skeletor had heard stories about. A sniveling coward who had tried to rise to power by leaving a young girl to freeze to death and attempting to murder another while she mourned.
At best, Skeletor would have found this scheme to be pitiful. But that would have been if he hadn’t known that young girl. If that queen hadn’t been his-- ...Hadn’t been someone he had already killed to protect.
“Did you really thing coming here was a wise decision?” He asked this as he stood over the man, bloodied and bruised and laying breathless on the floor. Already beaten within an inch of his life. The second this Prince Hans had set foot in Arendelle, Skeletor had ordered his men to drag the bastard down to the cold cells beneath the dungeon. And then he ordered them to leave and let him ‘talk’ to the young man.
Hans coughed, wincing when the action caused his ribs to ache. No surprise after how hard he had been kicked. “I knew...” he groaned, “I knew you were just a monster. I knew it. And when I get out of here--”
Another sharp kick silenced the man. “Bold of you to think you’re leaving here,” the hooded figure growled. “Or maybe you will. If I feel generous I’ll let you go home without that lying tongue in your head! But I’m not a generous man, Highness...”
