GIRLS!! GIRLS!! GIRLS!?!? oh, if only these two could figure out their situationship.... no matter what, they certainly have strong feelings for each other. ive just been enjoying drawing little vignettes of their life. details:

-fikkit's the type to spend lots of time Brooding in front of their canvas instead of actually working, while theodochia spends all the time she can painting...

-both have psychic abilities. theodochia has visions of future doom, while fikkit can see echos of movement.

-theodochia has a gift from their ancestor--a skull named Il Dottore. that's super not allowed btw idk how they GOT that. its for.... still life painting practice!?!

-fikkits absolutely WHIPPED for that rustblood.

-...theodochia likes taking advantage of this to fluster fikkit or make them do stupid things when showing off... watching fikkit into suffer in a sorta blackrom way gives theodochia red feelings. their vacillating drives fikkit crazy(bad way), but also drives her crazy (good way). understand? they're weirdos.

#more doom in this relationship than your average invader zim episode #ive been so not normal about these two lately theyre so cray #theodochia #fikkit #fikkits psychic ability lets them see where an enemy has moved in the past and where they will likely move in the future.#godtier takes this a step further by letting them spin hourglass shapes to roll a specific person backwards in time and forwards in time #the hourglass on the tail of their hood lets them personally move in time i think #meanwhile #theodochia is knight of doom. defensive exploit class. her 'kiss of death' ability lets her see a person's doom #which gives her the potential to either trick an individual to their doom early or avert their doom through an exploit #i imagine the two are fighting because fikkit wants to save theodochia from fate #while theodochia must to complete it by dooming fikkit even though she doesnt want to....#during the fight they both bring out the full extent of their powers #fikkit keeps making different choices and cycling things back and forwards but nothing can prevent doom from coming to pass #giving fikkit and theodochia just a few eternal moments while fikkit has time stopped to spend with each other for the last time #before the scythe swings down.........#BWAH... more art of fikkits dad :) they appeared with the rest of the lusus in a post from a little while ago, but here they are with 6 sweep fikkit!! their hive is a huge clock, and their dad is responsible for the movement of the artificial sun and moons of the nursery cavern. He's a very intelligent lusus capable of talking, a lot like equius's lusus. he's a very doting parent, which annoys fikkit a billion. Some of the adult troll teachers think he's quite handsome (which fikkit thinks is GROSS.)

manticoredad gets very attached to the trolls he raises, and hates that he only gets to spend a short 6 sweeps with them before they ascend to the institute. he likes to point out that on alternia, a troll gets to spend their entire life with a lusus, it's not normal to be separated first at 6 sweeps with brief visitation days, and then again when their charges age out of the institute and are sent to the other planet. in Gold Rule society, the verbal lusus have rights, but it's... complicated. Furthermore, to be able to visit his planetside children with his responsibilities, he'd have to raise another manticore to specifically take over his job and the thought of leaving family in his lonely situation terrifies him. he chose to open up his heart to adopt fikkit due to her specific sign and scorpion morph.

fikkit loves their dad a lot, but they're reluctant to show it because he can get sappy and touchy-feely. visiting him is very hard, as he's a day's travel from the nursery layer entrance for school-aged trolls, cutting into the already brief visiting time they have. The machine running the skybox takes daily maintenance so her dad can't make the travel instead to wait to see her. After leaving for school, they missed him a lot but refuse to show anyone how homesick they feel. They haven't visited at all in long time, because they're worried it'll make the longing worse. :(
