Which Filmation movie do you think is better?
Pinocchio and the Emperor of the Night (1987)
Happily Ever After (1993)
It's so cute to see Heckle and Jeckle's Feather Tails as a Boat Motor in Cavebirds, Propeller in Mail Birds, and Paddle in Hang Two from The New Adventures of Heckle and Jeckle, just like Miles Tails Prower's Tail Abilities from Sonic the Hedgehog.
Sci-Fi Saturday Morning!
Jason of Star Command, ch 6: Planet of the Lost (Filmation, 1978) Instead of Space Academy season 2, we got THIS. The network wanted STAR WARS, not Star Trek. Sometimes fun, but not nearly as good, Jason was a serial-style throwback with 12-minute episodes ending on cliffhangers, notable for James Doohan as the Commander, and the unhinged Sid Haig is Dragos. This episode features a bit of rare and impressive stop-motion monster action!

Ark II episode 11: Omega (Filmation, 1976) A bizarre post-apocalypse mash-up of Planet of the Apes, Space 1999, Lord of the Flies, and Damnation Alley, this was the weirdest and darkest of children's sci-fi from Filmation. And everybody had Bible names! Even the chimp! This episode is notable for starring baby Helen Hunt as a computer-possessed child overlord.
