the moment Kili realized Fili liked Ori😭

Kili, messing with Ori and Fili, as usual, all of them having fun, in the library in Erebor, where Ori works.

Kili: “that’s it, im gonna start judging books by their covers, see how you like it.” Kili crosses his arms, smirking. Ori gives him an annoyed look, trying not to laugh at the terrible joke. Fili gives Kili a look, “Oye, lay off of him, Kee.” Kili IMMEDIATELY looks at Fili like ⬇️

Then…it hits him⬇️

The empty head stares Fili has been giving at Ori, the two hanging out more, Fili’s weird new habit of showing off in front of Ori. Bro actin like he just made some revelation no one else has figured out yet😭✌️

Later that day, Kili’s talking to Bilbo

Kili: “uncle Bilbo? Have you ever noticed something about Fee and Ori?”

Bilbo: “I mean, not of recent, no. Why?”

Kili: “I think…,” he whispers to Bilbo, despite being completely alone😭”,I think Fili has the hots for Ori.” Bilbo looks at Kili like he’s waiting for him to announce his joke: ”You’re being serious?”

Kili nods: “I know, right?! I can’t believe Fili’s finally found his One. I’m not mad about it, just shocked. Poor Ori though, Fee’s a hand full” he added that last bit js to be funny.

Bilbo curls his fist to his lips, then folds his lips into mouth, taking a deep breath through his nose: “Kili…Fili and Ori have been courting for like…5 months.”

Kili: “WHAT”
