It seemed like everyone was constantly on guard, and when she did manage to snag something it was never anything valuable. She was starting to go hungry.

So here she was, dressed in a ridiculous uniform, walking into a palace far too fancy for someone like her. Maybe if this job didn't work out she could at least snag something valuable when she left.

Lottie approached the large double doors with no sign of hesitance, fist immediately banging on the door. "Hello?" She only waited half a second before pounding on the door again. Impatient much? "I'm supposed to start working here today, I suppose. If no one answers the door I'll just let myself in!"
