Ok ok OK- time to talk about my favorite ending- the 1 successful (at least, where no one dies) “Split Up” decision that leads us to the “Ignorance is Bliss” ending.

Seeing all the WKM portraits with their characters’ quotes with their eyes blacked out just like in the original WKM thumbnails? Awesome!! Brilliant!

Notice how we were heading to an “exit”? 

But we never seem to go through it? And even if we did- we weren’t given the option choice to actually leave (until the very end by Dark’s own doing)?

Then there’s the man himself;

“I always thought that you were trapped in his games, perpetually plunging down the rabbit holes of his stories. Helpless. Lost. I KNOW THE FEELING.”

Nice throwback to ADWM, when Dark first said “And let’s see how far down this rabbit hole really goes”.

Hooooly smokes this scene;

Literally seeing all the versions of Dark that represent how many times you’ve already been here, already had this conversation, already done this ending...

And this shot... Is f*cking haunting.

And

Also reminiscent of Dark back in ADWM. With the red 2nd version behind him.

Dark’s shell is still breaking...

Is that wineglass a small throwback to the dinner Dark “provided” with us?...

We’re at the Warden’s desk now. “Throughout this Heist I’ve hidden codes.”

THAT DOT ON THE QUESTION MARK CHANGED TO THAT 7- DARK WAS GIVING US THAT HIDDEN CODE ALL ALONG

“Find them all, and you’ll get your truth.”

Of course the camera zooms out just. Like. THAT.

And.... 

We’re thrown right back to where we were. Just like-

One last thing; how Dark said; “You want answers. Well, games were always HIS... Forte.”

Then later, to us directly; “Well... I know how much you love a good game.”

And he’s right.

Or else we would never be there in the first place at all.
