Both SE and the FFVII development team have finally stopped being subtle about Cloti's tender kiss in Rebirth Chapter 12
I find the progression this year, from SE and the FFVII development team, to be extremely satisfying — specifically regarding Tifa's Gold Saucer date and Cloti's tender kiss in the Skywheel in Rebirth Chapter 12, post-release on February 29th, 2024:
March 28th, 2024 — The "Friends of Fate - Inside FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH - Episode 2 (Scenario, Cutscenes and Story)" official interview with the developers is on one of Square Enix's official YouTube channels. The developers giggle excitedly as they tell the players to specifically get Tifa's GS date in Chapter 12 and only Tifa's date, and they even encourage everyone to play the game multiple times, "go back for second and third rounds", solely to see a "special Tifa cutscene". But, the video doesn't actually show the kiss. (Skip ahead to timestamp 12:58)

July 12th, 2024 — Japanese comedians play through Tifa's GS date in Chapter 12, and they intentionally only play through Tifa's date. When Cloud agrees to go on a date with Tifa, they say "he's already in love". When Cloud and Tifa wander around Gold Saucer together, they refer to Cloud as Tifa's "kareshi", which translates to "boyfriend". When Cloud and Tifa finally kiss, they exclaim excitedly. They also acknowledge how shy and awkward the couple is with each other after the Skywheel ride is over. Kanou-san says "Even if I am over 40 years old, I got kyun-kyun", meaning that his heart skipped a beat or he had butterflies in his stomach. At the end of the video, there's a big block saying "Play the game to find out the relationship between Cloud and Tifa". This stream was approved, endorsed, and sponsored by Square Enix themselves, and is on one of Square's official YouTube channels, meaning that Square prepared this stream themselves. But, the video cuts away right after Cloud pulls Tifa into a big tight hug and right before the viewer can see the kiss.

September 26th, 2024 — The official English version of the FFVII Rebirth Gold Saucer & MiniGame Disc calls Tifa's GS Skywheel date "Words Drowned Out by Fireworks - A Tender Kiss".

December 3rd, 2024 — Hamaguchi explicitly talks about Cloti's tender kiss during Tifa's GS date at the PlayStation Partner Awards. He confirms that there was a "clear intention" behind the kiss. He basically confirms that Tifa's Resolution in Remake Chapter 14 is canon because he explicitly mentions the Cloti hug in her Resolution. Since the hug in Remake happened, therefore the kiss in Rebirth happened. This is the very first time Cloti's tender kiss has ever been openly acknowledged by anyone in the FFVII development team, 10 months after Rebirth's release.

Question: Do you get anything when you boot up the main Final Fantasy VII Rebirth game (when it comes out) for having played the Junon demo?
Because if not, I'm thinking I'm just going to wait and play that until the story proper.
Replaying Rebirth
So I started the game from scratch but with the enhanced progression settings active cause I don't wanna be here all year.
Some things I've noted:
Aerith talks more than literally every other character combined. Like she will not shut up. If Tifa says one word, Aerith will say two. If Tifa has two, Aerith will say three. And nothing of any substance or point to the conversation. She literally just talks to be heard. All. The. Time.
Aerith will literally be in every single cutscene unless Cloud is alone with Tifa or she isn't in the party. Like even events or quests that have nothing to do with her, she pops up beside him or is right there prominently in the background.
Aerith's quests gatekeep a lot of mandatory events. Like getting the mountain chocobo, or progressing to the next main scenario. Hamaguchi made it almost impossible to play this game without interacting with Aerith constantly.
I'm only just at Junon in chapter 4, but these are the things that jumped out at me as I was playing because I'm not wasting time level grinding so get the story progression pretty speedily, and it's very clear from this why Rebirth would never have gotten GotY. They have literally jammed Aerith down our throats at every available opportunity and all I feel while playing is annoyed that the bitch won't shut up and leave me alone when she's not even in my battle party. Best part of the game so far was when I was with Red and Barret because they were the actual focus of attention and some pick me didn't keep popping up in my face to try and steal it.
Hi I just wanna ask, are the leaks parallel to the current EC plot or are there some changes like in how Cloud loses his identity because Tifa loses her faith in him. Is it the same in p3 or are there some changes in it as it's a remake so they have to add something new to the plot.
It's a key plot point, so obviously it's the same.

I wish they'd understand that it's not our logic stating that, but the narrative Nojima created. Nojima literally created the story and he decided she wasn't over Zack, would never be over Zack and was only interested in Cloud as a stand in for Zack.
Do they not understand it's a computer game with a fixed narrative? You don't get to decide what happens. It's not a choose your own adventure story. Yall just look stupid and insane for lacking basic plot comprehension.
