Final victor in @havanillas’ role swap AU
“But if our partnership is to remain amicable, then you need to catch up to speed on how I do things around here,” he purred, drawing out a revolver and emptying its cylinder, leaving a single shot in the chamber. He pushes the weapon into the smaller doctor’s hand, aiming the barrel at his own chest.
“Let’s see how far this “divine luck” of yours goes~”

"Life is a big gamble, and I'll always be the final victor" 🦚♠️🏳️🌈
so about that final victor light cone-
according to the story, aventurine takes a gun, empties the chambers of all but one bullet, then spins the cylinder and puts the gun to his chest. he fires three times, and all three come up blank. he says his "i'm always the final victor" line, and scene.
now, we can actually calculate the odds of this happening. most revolvers hold six shots, so that gives us 1 live shot and 5 blanks. the story doesn't seem to indicate that he's re-spinning the cylinder between shots, so the chances of firing a blank are, in order: 5/6 for the first shot, 4/5 for the second shot, and 3/4 for the third.
now, in order to find the probability of getting a blank three times in a row (so, the first shot, the second shot, and the third shot) we multiply the individual probabilities together. this gives us 3/6, or 1/2. therefore, in this situation, aventurine had a 1/2 chance of firing three blanks in a row.
so, in other words, you could say that aventurine won his 50/50
