Final Project Research - Initial Thoughts

My Final project as of right now is inspired by many things

- females in film

- finding an identity

- mental illness

-  the awareness of mental illness

- how it may be interpreted differently or misguided by typical female character tropes and gender stereotypes

- film noir, classic Hollywood's influence on female representation and mental illness

- contemporary film and art that showcase or discuss  

- my own journey to being healthy and finding out what is mentally wrong with me

- borderline personality disorder and mania

-  female tropes such as the manic pixie dream girl, femme fatale
