1975; if you could time travel to any time period, what would it be and why?

🤔 I think I would be a fool to pass up going back to Biblical times. There's a lot to choose from there but.. I think I would want to see Jesus's crucifixion and resurrection.

His death, because I would want that seared in my brain even after coming back to the present. I am a.. maybe.. sensitive person. Sometimes. Probably more than I would like. 😄😣 I cry when reading/hearing/watching stuff about the crucifixion. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I want my life to count for God and, I hope, seeing His son suffer and die to pay the price for all the sins I've committed would be a constant reminder to live for Him.

And I would want to stick around for the resurrection because .. I don't like sad endings. 😄 And Jesus's death isn't the ending! He died so He could conquer death and I would want to see Him alive and victorious before I had to go back to present times.

One of my favorite hymns is Christ Arose and has this verse in it:

Death cannot keep his Prey,

Jesus, my Savior;

He tore the bars away,

Jesus, my Lord!

Up from the grave He arose,

With a mighty triumph o’er His foes,

He arose a Victor from the dark domain,

And He lives forever, with His saints to reign.

Others may disagree, but I think its one of the most majestic and encouraging hymns out there. Jesus beat death and promises us eternity with Him if we trust in Him. What could possibly top that? 😊😊

If I had to choose outside of biblical times?

I'd probably choose a time in medieval England or something. Very basic and unimaginative but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . I always liked reading about Eleanor of Aquitaine.

Maybe go back to a little after her time. Be around when John was king with the Magna Carta... find out where his lost treasure ended up 😏
