I have always been a bookish sort of girl. The one content behind her glasses; happiest with a pad of paper and pen in hand. I suppose this made me a bit awkward at times; being happier inside a library than a party. It used to bother me that I had not grasped makeup and fashion trends as easily as some. It doesn't any more. I like being the bookish sort of girl, because she is me and I'm sorry for all the times I tried to shrink her for fear of disappointment.
