NINONG AT NINANG, PASKO NA NAMAN!
It's Christmas season and also a season for "FINDING NINONG AND NINANG." We know some kids and kids at heart still wishing and hoping that their godparents might have something for them this year. But, apart from gifts and presents what does Godparent mean and their roles?
A godparent's responsibility is to maintain some form of contact with the child throughout his or her life. Godparents attend the christening of the infant and possibly participate in the ritual. Most importantly, the godparent act as a mentor and, if the child's parent dies, the godparent step in as the child's symbolic parent. A godparent is such a meaningful word, down to its role and responsibility. If you have a godparent/s, take time to check them and thank them as well for accepting the duty of being a godparent. After all these years, do you still remember your godparent/s? What's your best memory with them?
