Remember that black-and-white fingerwoven strap I made, ages ago? The one that seemed too short to be useful? Turns out, it's perfect for my car keys!

And my brother saw it, right around his birthday, and said "Hey, could you make me one that matches my car???"

And so, here we are! :D:D:D

#Things I made!#fingerweaving!#I can see how much I improved at keeping the tension consistent with this center-out chevron when I compare the ends #But I'm pretty sure no one else will!#I'm almost out of the little hardware hooks!#And I still haven't made the thing I bought them for!#oops! But that just means I'll have to order more.#It IS astounding how useful inch-wide handwoven straps of various lengths can be!

I made this on a day when I wanted to work on SOMETHING, and had no clear idea WHAT! It's an experiment in fingerweaving; it's an oddly monochrome object, when most things I make are colorful. It's too short to be a bag strap or a belt. Maybe a camera strap? But I don't have a non-phone camera!

It came out very nicely, though, and was definitely good fingerweaving practice!
