“Can you say something, Sade?” Finn sighed.
Sadie shook her head, “I don’t really feel like talking anymore, Finn. Let’s just get our stuff and go back to our rooms.”
“But… We had fun, didn’t we?” Finn asked hesitantly.
“What was the fun part, exactly?” Sadie asked, “The rain? The mosquitoes? The fact that I constantly had to pick up your clothes? Your snoring?”
“Oh, it’s like that? Well then, what about your constant bitching about every little thing or the fact that you couldn’t stop checking your phone?” Finn retaliated.
“I had to check my phone to see if I had messages from my mother!” Sadie glared, “She’s having a hard time, and I want to make sure she’s okay!”
“That, I understand,” Finn said, “But you weren’t just checking to see if you had messages from your mother, you were checking to see if you had messages from James. Don’t deny it, Sade, I’ve seen you open your chat with him.”
“Really, Finn? I haven’t even mentioned James once during the whole holiday, have I? While yes, if you must know, I am worried about him, because he wasn’t doing so well when I saw him last. But you’re the one bringing him up now, not me.” Sadie snarled.
Finn sighed deeply, “You know what, Sade? Let’s just go to our rooms and cool off for a bit. I think we both need some space to breathe…”
“Right.” Sadie said. “I agree with you on that.”
