I should write a fic for episode 28 of Gozyugers. Where it was Firecandle breaking free of the mind control by thinking about Butler Lonelywolf. But I can't think of how to make it as impactful and just yaoi.

Though Fire Candle says he doesn't care about humans, it's tempting to look at how easily he bonded with "Lonely Wolf" and think that's wrong. But, actually, rather than that being evidence against it, that's probably because of Hoeru growing up in the No One World, right? Though he's human, Hoeru is "from" the same place as Fire Candle, the other Bridans, and the No Ones... We don't know much about the No One World or Hoeru's life there yet, and it was probably a totally different experience for him as a human than it is for the Bridans, but he still grew up in their world, and lived his most of his life there. How he's been socialized, his worldview, etc... in all those ways, Hoeru's probably more akin to the Bridans than humans. Even if he doesn't know why, of course Fire Candle finds "Lonely Wolf" and "Gozyu Wolf" easy to connect to. Hoeru isn't actually "alien" to him. There's no guarantee it would be as easy to extend that to normal humans...
