Heya Vex, just wondering how venomous Mambas are?

He’s been a bit jumpy since the eggs hatched, so I wanna be prepared in case I startle him.

*Mambas are the second most venomous lamia we have in the shop. Their venom is extremely potent, and they are very likely to bite, especially when guarding their eggs or hatchlings. Fortunately, we offer unlimited supplies of anti-venom to Mamba owners to treat biting incidents.

*As long as Mamba bites are treated quickly (and weren't given by a full-sized Mamba with strong killing intent which is thankfully extremely rare), the bite is only slightly painful and not fatal. There will likely be swelling at the site of the bite, but no lasting effects.

*All anti-venom in the shop is now made our resident FireRings. They have developed fast-acting and effective formulas infused with magic. Thanks to these efforts, anti-venom is available as a topical cream. No shots!

Hi there, um you recommend some Bittys to me last time. I know its been awhile but mind if I ask for another set of selections? Only if your comfortable of course! I've been curious about the Lamia class bittys, would you give me a recommendation or two. I could other provide details if necessary. Hope this finds you well, till next time and good luck⭐

Welcome back! I am more than happy to give you more Bitty recommendations. There are so many different kinds of Bitties out there, so it can be tricky finding just the right one for you. I’ve got 4 suggestions for you this time.

Corny: These lazy noodles spend the majority of their time sleeping. They make great cuddle buddies for lazy days and are one of the easier Lamias to care for. A Corny will be happy to taste test any food you make and he won’t mind traveling, but don’t expect any help or input from him. Even if a Corny tried to cook, he would probably fall asleep in the ingredients.

Firering: These are the newest Lamias in Vex’s shop. They’re calm, laid back, and very patient. They also LOVE to cook. With their powerful fire magic and impressive control, a Firering is an ideal cooking partner. He would be able to help with all the preparation, but he would also be able to help protect you from getting burned. Just like with Grillbitties, water is dangerous. While being submerged won’t immediately kill a Firering, it will make them incredibly sick and can lead to dusting. One thing you will need to know is that Firerings are mute. They can hear and understand others just fine, but they can only communicate through writing or sign language. 

King: These Lamias LOVE to read. A King would be happy to curl up with you and spend hours reading Manga with you, but he would also be able to appreciate the animated Ghibli stuff. Just be prepared for lots of blushing and hood flaring with some of the *ahem* more Shocking scenes in some food anime. That said, a King would be more than happy to help out with cooking or go traveling with you. Kings are big, especially full-sized ones, so travel can sometimes be a little tricky. However, you will always be safe and protected when traveling with a King.

Chain: I will always suggest Chains to people who are interested in Lamias. If you’re open to the idea of Soul Bonds, then there is definitely a Chain out there for you. Any Chain who has the potential to bond with you will likely either already have the same interests as you, or he will be open to and interested in trying them. Soul Bonds don’t share thoughts between the two partners, but it does give each of you an insight into the other’s emotional state.

How do firerings fare in cold climates? Where i live it get incredibly cold during the winter (like negative 30°F and lower) and if I were to get one, I'd want him to be safe.

*Cold climates do not bother FireRings in the slightest. In fact, they enjoy spending cold winters keeping other bitties or adopter’s toes nice and warm. A few things to remember though:

Being outside in cold weather for an extended period of time without sufficient shelter will drain a FireRing’s magic very quickly.

In cold climates, a FireRing may need extra food, including extra organic materials to burn to keep his fire and magic strong

You can tell if a FireRing is getting low on magic if his flames become small and rounded. If this happens, he needs organic materials or protein immediately.

A FireRing will warm up your socks or slippers in the morning so that your feet can be warm as soon as you get out of bed!

In short, a FireRing is fine in an extremely cold climate as long as he fed and sheltered properly!

*Because a FireRing is mute, his flames need to be monitored for his health and safety. If he is low on magic, he won’t have the dexterity to write on his whiteboard or use sign language coherently. FireRing adopters should make sure they know the signs of magic exhaustion in their lamia!
