Anna’s afternoon began with her feeling bored, which rarely leads to good things. In order to entertain herself, she decided to bake. She had no idea what she was going to bake, but what’s life without a little surprise? After thirty minutes and no clear product, she realized it was missing something. The only question was what. She searched the cabinets for something worth adding. Then, she found it. On the top shelf of a cabinet was a bag of jellybeans, the perfect addition to her work of confectionery brilliance. The only problem was how high up the bag was, but a mere three feet was not going to stop her. She pulled up a chair and attempted to reach it, but it was still too high. She desperately searched the dorm for boxes, books, anything to stand on. Regardless of whether people were currently reading the book, she grabbed it, shouting “I promise I’ll give it back,” as she ran off with it. When she returned to the kitchen she stacked everything on the chair, and stood on it. “So, close...” she said, reaching up to the bag. The stack was incredibly wobbly, but she could just barely reach it. “Gotcha!” she shouted, grabbing the bag, before the stack finally collapsed.
