SO! Now that the week of concrunching is over, and the convention has ended, it's time to get back to the swing of content creation.
I have a million stories to share from this convention alone! Lol
The whole weekend was WILD.
The first day I was still stuck in Concrunch mode and broke 4 sewing machine needles, so I sent Katrina Hodges ahead of me, so she could try and make it to the runway contest. I got ready, and began walking. It was several blocks from our hotel to the convention center, which was not smart in hindsight lol. Got catcalled by a group of college dudes on the way 🙄😒
Then, there was an issue with my registration, and the volunteers (not the staff) didn't know what was going on.
But, the size of this place! This was the largest con I've ever been to! I mean, the exhibition hall alone was 3-4 times the size of most the other cons we have frequented!! Not to mention, the three different floors of stages and panel rooms on top of that. It was beautiful, though!
After the runway contest, getting sick, then meeting a few celebrities, we chilled out that first night, and went out to have Ramen and drinks. They were phenomenal of course, since we went to Tamashii Ramen. I PASSED TF OUT in the hotel room while I was in the middle of putting on press-on nails! Like, plastic in hand, just out...
But yeah, stay tuned for Day 2, and Day 3 posts, since I don't want this post to go on forever haha
I still gotta tell you about the snake incident, and how we almost didnt get in to the big Cosplay Contest! But also the outcome! (As well as tornado watches, and burlesque shows) 🤣😅 also, I did about the worst thing I could have done at an autograph table.....
