as someone who fishes for pike, im pretty sure even a non-buffed large one could be dangerous. since cats have to grapple in the water with fish they could get bruised, drowned, scratched by pike teeth...
Pikes are very large and very powerful fish, it's what makes them so 'dramatic' when you're fishing for them. Even 100% non-buffed they would be a dangerous animal for a warrior to attack
By "buffing" I mean that I would give them the desire to attack something as big as a cat. I've only heard of them taking down stuff like baby ducks and small mammals, never anything as large as they are.
But I did just go searching for images of pikes hunting and I witnessed this fish violence,
