john is a sand dancer trainee at the Sand Castle….and dirk is a traveling sand dude from Salassandra whos kind of a dick but its ok

So, Misako isn't as sucky as she is in the show in my 5 worlds Au because:

Instead of leaving her son at a random boarding school and never talking to him, she leaves him at an ancient, well respected, school where he will learn the skills he will need in the future, under the care of her husband's brother and one of her closest friends. Still never sent letters, and she didn't come back when Lloyd ran away, so she's still... eeeeh, questionable, but not as bad as in the show.

And also: I don't think they have phones in the 5 worlds, so imagine how hard it would be for Wu to tell her by letter that Lloyd ran away, when he doesn't know where she is.

Edit: Looking for phones, the closest thing I could find was these hologram screens that are in all blue, and I’ve only seen them all over Yatta, and on ships/large areas, so I don’t know if she could have communicated with Lloyd or not.
