Fjord's favourite thing in the world? The purring sound @sapphiretrickster makes when she's happy.
Fjord does not know Orcish. There was no one at Driftwood to teach him, he never met anyone with Orcish blood and heritage until much later in life. Fjord’s first language is Common.
He has recently started to learn, in secret. Having positive interactions with another half Orc (Wursh), and becoming more accepting of who he is, Fjord has started to embrace his heritage. Having started learning not long after he started to let his tusks grow back, he can now read and converse at a basic level in Orcish, although he doesn’t have much opportunity to practice.
useless headcanon time
You know those guys who have ridiculously good eyelashes? long and kinda thick?
Fjord is one of those guys.
pointless headcanon time!
Fjord is not at his best first thing in the morning. A mumbled five more minutes from under a mound of blankets is probably the most you could expect if you went to wake him. He’s not grumpy or bad tempered, he’s just really fucking slow to wake up.
Useless headcanons time.
Stroking or lightly scratching where his hair is shaved at the back of his head is like hitting his shut down button. Ideal if you want to get him to calm down/relax/sleep.
But he's not going to tell you that.
Weird headcanons which ping into your brain while watching old sci-fi movies and eating pizza.
Fjord's hair, when it's not slicked back with who knows what, has a slight curl to it, but only when he lets it grow, which he very rarely does. Only if you catch him first thing in the morning would you notice it.
Regarding Fjord's birthday, he doesn't know the actual date. He was never told, and the orphanage weren't too big on celebrating them. So for purely for the sake of having to have a day, he chose the last day of the year. But he doesn't mark it in anyway.
I wonder how many times Fjord has cast disguise self to create a 'normal' (human) version of himself
