Hello! I hope this ask finds you well, and I apologize if this blog is no longer active or is on a break atm!

This is the secondary request - Would it be okay to ask for a coined term for an alter who's role in the system is to be a protective shadow? I know maybe protector would work, but our headmate insists that doesn't fit, and it'd be for them. I haven't had their experiences so I'm not gonna say it fits if it doesn't y'know? /lh

They specifically will go around headspace and travel through the shadows to check up on everyone & make sure headspace (we visualize ours) is in the right condition. While they can bring others through their shadows, they tend to not do so unless it's an emergency.

Shadows protector:

A shadows protector is a specific type of a protector alter who's role involves protecting alters, but they travel and check-up on other headmates/alters via shadows and also have the ability to use these shadows to transport other alters in emergencies.
