Khan stood back in the shadows, keeping well out of sight. The lobby was full of dignitaries and Starfleet personnel but there was only one that he was interested in. Finding out what Starfleet had done, what they had accomplished, surprised him. He didn't think that they had it in them to create such a realistic android. The reason for her creation though, it made no sense. Why would you want to interact with an inanimate object? Sometimes he wondered how Starfleet had managed to become such a powerhouse.

But that didn't matter now. He had use for this abomination, and he would use it. How ironic, using Kirk's beloved ship against him. His hand slid into his pocket and his fingers gently caressed the hypospray. It had taken him longer than he expected to create the virus but it finally worked the way he wanted. It would get the android where he could work on it. The speeches started, welcoming the dignitaries and he moved along the edge of the crowd, slowly making his way closer to the android.

The speakers drone on and on as Khan carefully makes his way into the crowd, finally stopping near the android. Pulling the hypo out of his pocket, he waited until the applause started and he leaned forward, pushing the men standing in front of him into the android. Pressing the hypo against its back, he barely heard the hiss as it sent the virus into it. The hypo went back into his pocket and he made his way back out of the crowd to wait for the android to show up in the room he had programmed the virus to send it. All the equipment he needed to change its programming was waiting there for him but he knew that he didn't have much time. The virus could over ride its main programming for only so long.

I am! I'm trying to decide if I want Steve to have been put in some kind of stasis again or if I want him to just pop into the future or if I want him to have actually lived all those years, though. I'm not sure which would be the most fun, so I'm trying to figure out a baseline universe, and then I'll unleash myself on my Trekkie peeps. <3
