Charlotte spoils Liv because something about seeing her happy makes Charlotte’s day better. She doesn’t know if it’s her smile, her hyperactivity or the way her blue eyes sparkle when she looks at her.
They’re human ok? So when the comments start getting to Charlotte’s head, Liv does something so common and yet uncommon to boost her mood. “Wrestle with me.” “Why?” “Well you’re a nine time champion and one of the best wrestlers WWE has to offer. I want to get better at it, so who else better to ask?” “You’re clever, go get padded up.” It boosts Charlotte’s confidence and also lets her release some steam.
On the flip side, when Liv is down in the dumps it affects Charlotte because Liv is normally always happy. So with that, a lot like aftercare, Charlotte will shower Liv with affection. It isn’t like “here’s my card, go do whatever” affection, but “I don’t like you sad so whatever I need to do to make you happy let’s do that” kind of affection. Liv is shy with the big displays but has always let Charlotte know that she cares, which is more than enough.
